Hello, Sweet Friend! We’ve made it to Table Week, which means it’s time to trade freezer bags for fancy napkins and casserole dishes for candles. 💁♀️ This is your cue to start playing — pull out those pretty things you’ve tucked away “for special occasions” and make Tuesday dinner sparkle a little. Thanksgiving’s around the corner, but the joy of gathering? That starts right now. 🍽️ This Week’s Easy Recipes 🦃 Thanksgiving Recipes ✨ Hosting Tip of the Week While you *could* set your table now, it’s a little early. But! You can still make your place cards, and corral any items you know you want to use on your table. Shop your home first, and use things that might not be “for the table.” I’m a big fan of cookbooks to add height to your table. Choose the autumn colored books, and add unscented votive candles on top. Done! One year, I plopped grocery store flowers into my (empty and clean!!) green bean cans. Placed them on top of “harvest-y” dish towels that acted like a table runner, and called it a day. ((Those are place card banners from Hester & Cook!)) 🍁 Cute Things I’ve Found for Your Table: One of my favorite brands for table decorating, Hester & Cook, offers so many adorable toss away options! Here’s my new faves: Coloring Turkey Placemats — for kids and adults alike, these are so fun to have on the tables! Whether as a “dinner isn’t ready” activity, or something for people to do while they sit around and converse. Cabbage Place Mats — I love using things on my table that are “season-less.” These cabbage place mats do just that! Use them for any season, but super festive for Thanksgiving. I always have a roll of these striped Paper Table Runner in my hosting closet. I’ve used it for wrapping paper, for the table, for all kinds of things! Get a neutral and use it over and over for any party! 💌 A Note from Me Keep it cozy, keep it real, and pass the rolls, |
