🍁 My Favorite Fall Recipe + Favorites from My Kitchen

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! It’s October First!

Y’all, I love October here in the mountains. The sky is the perfect shade of Carolina blue, the air is crisp, and it smells like Fall.

And, it’s not October without Pumpkin Fondue. It’s a cute pumpkin that’s been hollowed out, and stuffed with bread and cheese and a yummy custard… All baked together to create perfection.

You scoop out the melty, cheesy, decadent, and I spoon it over more bread.

This and a bottle of unctuous white burgundy?! Sheer delight. Sheer bliss.

Give this one a try with some friends and make it an annual tradition!

4 Kitchen Things I’m Loving:

With the new season, I have my go-to Fall kitchen items that I wanted to share with you!

They’re pretty basic, so nothing earth-shattering!

I keep a stack of aluminum pans in my closet for making and freezing meals. But I also make my side dishes for Thanksgiving this month. I’ve linked to both Amazon and Sam’s Club.

The *only* reason I have a Sams Club membership is because of these pans. Sam’s has a stack of 36 (count them!!) for $12. They don’t have lids, but it’s a no brainer.

The Amazon ones are a set of both 9x13 and 8x8 pans, with lids that you fold on. They’re $28 for 20.

You do the math!

Every time someone comes over, someone goes home with a pan full of food. And! These make great “I need to take them a meal” pans. Just bake and toss.

A hearty cutting board is essential in any kitchen. I recently waxed poetically to a friend who asked, “Where can I buy a good cutting board?” It was a lengthy process of checking for specific types of wood, ensuring it was thick and sturdy, and opting for a larger board over a smaller one. I told her how I keep little squares of no-slip carpet stuff under mine, since I only pick it up and wash once a week. ((Don’t get your panties in a wad, it’s okay!)) I use one that I purchased at Aldi for $12. It’s similar to the one I’ve linked, so keep an eye out if you’re an Aldi shopper!

((As you can see, I have very humble opinions on kitchen gear!! While you can spend $$$$, you don’t have to.))

A good cast-iron skillet! I am loving my new ones from the Dolly Parton Collection with Lodge. Isn’t my wall so cute?!

Those little sticker hangers for the pans have been so fantastic!! They hold up to 44lbs, and only two have come off. ((Not the sticker part, but the holder part.))

Let’s make October a month of good food and even better company. Invite someone over, light a candle, and pass the bread.

💕Heaps of love, y’all!
