Happy Sunday, Sweet Friends! I’ve got 🖐️ recipes to get your week started! One uses leftovers. I’m not a great meal planner — I actually loathe it. If I make a meal plan, I can 100% guarantee I will not stick to it. I enjoy the process of making dinner in the evenings! So, having meal components is great. That allows me some wiggly creativity when it comes to the other parts of the plate! Five Recipes for This Week: BBQ Chicken Sub Sliders — these are a great way to use up leftover roasted chicken, rotisserie chicken, etc. They’re a Game Day favorite, and so finger-licking good! Air Fryer Barbecued Chicken — I made this chicken for a BBQ chicken salad, and now I make this chicken almost every Monday. I slice it super thin, then eat it for a few days. 5-Ingredient Chili — This is my mother’s chili recipe from my childhood. It’s a fantastic way to meal prep, too! Make the pot of chili on a Sunday, and enjoy a bowl. On Tuesday, cover it with cornbread mix and bake until golden brown. << BOOM! A whole new meal! Plus, this is a freezer’s dream. Freeze in the restaurant containers, then thaw in a few weeks when it’s rainy and you need a heaping bowl of comfort! White Bean Chicken Chili with Cornbread Waffles — Y’all! If you’re hosting any kind of gathering this Fall, make this big pot of soup and waffles. Everyone goes nuts over this! BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad — while this salad has a few homemade components, it is worth it!! We all know the first couple of weeks of Fall are on the hotter side, so having a good salad on deck is a great plan. Hope you love these recipes and share them with people around the table. In a world that is filled with shouting, lonely scrolling, and disconnection, choose to be the invite. Courageously choose to open your doors and let people in! Fall is a great time to do this on the weekends — the games are on in the background, and it’s a casual time to hang out. 💕Heaps of Love, Y'all! Ash |
