Another week, another chance to take the guesswork out of “What’s for dinner?” We’re leaning into comfort food season, so I’m sharing a few of my favorites. 🥩 Easy Oven Pot Roast – cozy, filling, and fewer dishes. ✨ Sunday Prep Tip: Chop your onions, peppers, and carrots ahead of time and stash them in airtight containers in the fridge. It’s a small step that pays off big when weeknight chaos hits. I love having as many of the ingredients prepped as I can. It also makes it easier when plans change! I can toss the chopped onions into a freezer-safe baggie and add them to my stash. 💡 Holiday Prep Now: While you’re in prep mode, set aside 15 minutes to take stock of your pantry and spices. Make a quick list of what’s running low (think cinnamon, sage, or chicken stock). Your future self will thank you when Thanksgiving rolls around and you’re already ready. 💕 And here’s the heart of it all: every meal we cook and every table we gather around is more than food—it’s an offering of connection and hope. Hosting doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. Even a simple pot of soup shared with a neighbor can remind us that we’re not alone, and that’s the real gift of the season. Cheers to a week of dinners you don’t have to overthink. Heaps of love, y'all! Ash |
