Fridge Week Begins! Organize, Prep, and Chill 🥕

Hi, Sweet Friend!

🗓️ This Week’s Focus: Fridge Week
We’re making space for calm and clarity — both in your fridge and in your mind. A little organization now means smooth sailing later.

Do you know what size bird you’re getting? And if it’s frozen, do you have space to let it thaw safely in your fridge? ((Every. Single. Year. My dad and I have the turkey in the bathtub while we watch the Macy’s Day Parade. Without fail… Now, when I’ve hosted Friendsgiving, have I ever had the turkey in the tub?! No. No, I plan ahead. Bless my dear father! The turkey is the one recipe I let him do. 😜))

Take an hour this week to thoroughly clean out your fridge, making space for that big bird and any other things you’ll be adding to it.

My goal: by the end of this week, I’ll have everything ready to either be thawed out on Monday, with the table set and meals prepped for Monday to Wednesday of next week. Yes!! These people still have to eat on every other day than Thanksgiving Day. Crazy, right?!

🍽️ Easy Recipes for This Week

🥣 Prep Ahead Meals:

5-Ingredient Chili — it will take you 30 minutes to get it where you can let it cool, then add to your freezer.

Baked Meatballs — roll out a slew of meatballs, bake them, then freeze. Plop them into sauce with pasta, slather into subs, or eat like I do, just in red sauce!

Cranberry Chicken — this takes 5 minutes to add into a casserole dish, so I’m not sure you really need to prep ahead, but it’s a great recipe to bookmark for next week!

Hosting Tip of the Week
Prep components early — chop onions, shred cheese, make vinaigrettes, and store them in labeled containers. When the big day comes, all you’ll need to do is assemble and bake.

The one recipe I don't make ahead is my Grandma's Dressing. I'll chop up the celery and onions, though, on Monday!

💌 A Note from Me
A clean fridge feels like a clean slate. Take 10 minutes to wipe it down, toss old condiments, and make room for gratitude (and pie crusts). Small rhythms make hosting effortless.

How can you take a few minutes this week to rest and prepare for the busy week next week?? Any little task that you think, "I'll do that later!"

Do. It. Now. Just get it done, friend!

Now bless your own heart — you’re doing beautifully,
xo, Ashley
