Happy (Late) Valentine's Day, Sweet Friends! If you've known me for any length of time, you might know that Valentine's Day is my *favorite* holiday. Christmas? I'm a total Scrooge. Thanksgiving? I do most of the work, so it's fine. Valentine's Day? Yes, please, and thank you. I think it started because, as a kid, it was a crafty thing in the classroom. Decorating our mailboxes, cutting and stapling paper chains together, pink and pink?? All the *cute* charming things I love to fill my life with. But, also a full day, dedicated to telling the people in your life how much you adore them?! Again, yes!! ((By the way: that's YOU! I sure do adore you, dear ones!)) Valentine's Day is nestled in the chilly winter, bringing us a little lively hope while we wait. By now, winter feels long β and thatβs exactly why we lean into comfort. This weekβs meals are warm, grounding, and deeply satisfying without being complicated. π½οΈ This Weekβs Cozy PicksMain Dish Options

These small, repeated acts of care build trust β and trust is what carries us through dark seasons. This is food that invites people to linger. And that still counts. π β Ashley |

Let me say this clearly: Hosting doesnβt start with six people. It starts the moment you decide to make space. A dinner for two β or even one β still deserves: a candle a real plate a moment of pause One thing I've set out to do this year is "host" myself. I never set a table for me -- I'll wait until I'm having other people over to use my table. But why wouldn't I host myself first?! I'm worth it...
