Happy (Late) Valentine's Day, Sweet Friends! If you've known me for any length of time, you might know that Valentine's Day is my *favorite* holiday. Christmas? I'm a total Scrooge. Thanksgiving? I do most of the work, so it's fine. Valentine's Day? Yes, please, and thank you. I think it started because, as a kid, it was a crafty thing in the classroom. Decorating our mailboxes, cutting and stapling paper chains together, pink and pink?? All the *cute* charming things I love to fill my life with. But, also a full day, dedicated to telling the people in your life how much you adore them?! Again, yes!! ((By the way: that's YOU! I sure do adore you, dear ones!)) Valentine's Day is nestled in the chilly winter, bringing us a little lively hope while we wait. By now, winter feels long — and that’s exactly why we lean into comfort. This week’s meals are warm, grounding, and deeply satisfying without being complicated. 🍽️ This Week’s Cozy PicksMain Dish Options

🤍 Hosting Hope In a culture that rewards spectacle, choosing ordinary hospitality is quietly radical. A weeknight meal. Soup and bread. Candles lit anyway. These small, repeated acts of care build trust — and trust is what carries us through dark seasons. This is food that invites people to linger. And that still counts. 💗 — Ashley |

Just a few easy things to put on the table and a soft invitation to someone you love. Think: • A bright, citrusy cocktail (or something bubbly and non-alcoholic). My favorite since...
All month, we’ve been talking about “Be the Invite.” Not as a slogan. Not as an aesthetic. But as a decision. You don’t wait until the outside projects are done. You don’t wait until you feel more confident. You don’t wait until your house looks like someone else’s. You open the door anyway. That’s Radical Hosting. Not radical like loud.Radical like rooted. Radical like:“I refuse to let insecurity make my decisions.” This Sunday, I want you to host. Something. Anything. Not a production. Not a...
Happy Wednesday, Friends! After the stage. After the lights. After the applause. I came home. And do you know what didn’t change? The house projects are still there. The world is still loud.My to-do list is still long. Nothing became magically polished. And that’s when I realized something. “Be the Invite” was never about one dinner.Or one stage.Or one brave moment. It’s about something steadier. It’s about Radical Hosting. Not radical like loud.Radical like rooted. Radical like:“I don’t let my...
