The Results are In!

Happy Wednesday!

At the end of June, I sent a rather melodramatic email about how I'm tired I am of content creators who are ME focused. ((I'm tired for more than just that reason!))

I sent a quick little survey, and y'all delivered! I like to think I know my audience really well, so I assumed the results going in were going to be emailed once a week with a little bit of everything, and no one is interested in a paid subscription. << BINGO! Nailed it.

But the comments were my favorite part!!

"I enjoy the content you share. Keep on doing what you do."

"I think you are adorable. Don’t change a thing."

"I love your recipes and your thoughts on the recipes."

"I like best about your content the realness of it. I don’t want to have to get a certain skillet, unobtainable spice, high priced blender or a subscription too see the recipe. Simplicity is always better, for me."

There were MANY more that made my day! I've read them a few times just to get a little pep in my step! Thank you!! Y'all are just the best.

So, with that... Let's get these newly formatted emails going, shall we?!

Who needs a couple of recipes to get you through the weekend?!

Fritos Corn Salad

This might be the easiest and BEST thing I've made recently.

Air Fryer Mediterranean Chicken Skewers

Delish is all I have to say!

Steakhouse Potatoes Romanov

I'm telling you! This is the easiest, creamiest, most delicious potato casserole side dish you've got to try!

This month on Instagram, we're "Grilling and Chilling!" This week specifically, I'm diving deep into all the ways you can bring the Steakhouse Home! That Potatoes Romanov casserole has gone semi-viral, and I can say it's worthy of virality!

I am not a fan of all the "deal days" happening this month, such as Walmart, Target Circle Days, and Prime Day. While you *can* find some great deals, if you do not NEED it, and you do not have a use for it... Put that money somewhere else. No need to clutter up your home with items influencers tell you to buy!

I do have a list going for Prime Day of my favorite items. These are all items that I own and use, and I would gift them to all of you if I could!

Cheeseboard WITH a Lid!

I am LOVING this lidded cheeseboard from Farberware. Even just for making up the board and taking it out to the porch... the lid is a must-have!

Jewelry Organized

I've got a LOAD of earrings, and adding this organizer to my drawer has been so helpful!

Handheld Vacuum

This is the little vacuum that could! I use it to get crumbs off my counter, spilled tea leaves, and anything in between.

Kitchen Stickin

This is a little something that you don't think you need... but you do! I can peel & rip off a piece of tape with one hand while holding the bag or thing I need the tape on. It's wonderful!

Alright, Sweet People! That's all I've got for you today. Is anything exciting coming up in your world?

We're cruising through July, and I'm already scheming of my Holiday Plans! ((Behind the Scenes: Thanksgiving recipes are soaring in Pinterest... which makes me feel like I am SO BEHIND for content creation! But, I am determined to live in the season!))

Heaps of Love, Y'all! Have a great week!

XOXO,

Ash

Happy Thursday, Sweet Friend! There's something about Thursday afternoons that always makes me start looking toward the weekend. By now, the workweek has settled in. The groceries are mostly bought. The laundry is (hopefully) folded. And my mind has dreamed up the answer to one of my favorite questions: "Who could I gather around the table this weekend?" Sometimes it's Sunday supper with my parents. Sometimes it's a girlfriend coming over for happy hour. Sometimes it's a full dinner party...

Happy, August, Sweet Friends! The first week of August always feels funny to me. Summer isn't over, but you can almost feel everyone rushing toward fall. Pumpkin recipes start showing up, school supplies appear overnight, and suddenly we're all expected to pretend it isn't still ninety degrees outside. I'm not ready. I want one more month of iced tea in the afternoon, tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes, and dinners that don't require turning the oven on. This week's recipe ideas are...

Hi, Sweet Friend! At the beginning of this month, I told you I wanted us to create more margin. Not more hustle. Not more pressure. More breathing room. As I've been writing these Wednesday notes, I've realized something. We're not just talking about recipes. Or organizing. Or dinner parties. We're talking about building a life that's easier to say "yes" to. Yes to inviting the neighbors over. Yes to a cup of tea on the porch. Yes to using the good dishes on a Tuesday. Yes to slowing down...
