Happy Wednesday! At the end of June, I sent a rather melodramatic email about how I'm tired I am of content creators who are ME focused. ((I'm tired for more than just that reason!)) I sent a quick little survey, and y'all delivered! I like to think I know my audience really well, so I assumed the results going in were going to be emailed once a week with a little bit of everything, and no one is interested in a paid subscription. << BINGO! Nailed it. But the comments were my favorite part!! "I enjoy the content you share. Keep on doing what you do." "I think you are adorable. Donโt change a thing." "I love your recipes and your thoughts on the recipes." "I like best about your content the realness of it. I donโt want to have to get a certain skillet, unobtainable spice, high priced blender or a subscription too see the recipe. Simplicity is always better, for me." There were MANY more that made my day! I've read them a few times just to get a little pep in my step! Thank you!! Y'all are just the best. So, with that... Let's get these newly formatted emails going, shall we?! Who needs a couple of recipes to get you through the weekend?! โ This month on Instagram, we're "Grilling and Chilling!" This week specifically, I'm diving deep into all the ways you can bring the Steakhouse Home! That Potatoes Romanov casserole has gone semi-viral, and I can say it's worthy of virality! I am not a fan of all the "deal days" happening this month, such as Walmart, Target Circle Days, and Prime Day. While you *can* find some great deals, if you do not NEED it, and you do not have a use for it... Put that money somewhere else. No need to clutter up your home with items influencers tell you to buy! I do have a list going for Prime Day of my favorite items. These are all items that I own and use, and I would gift them to all of you if I could! Alright, Sweet People! That's all I've got for you today. Is anything exciting coming up in your world? We're cruising through July, and I'm already scheming of my Holiday Plans! ((Behind the Scenes: Thanksgiving recipes are soaring in Pinterest... which makes me feel like I am SO BEHIND for content creation! But, I am determined to live in the season!)) Heaps of Love, Y'all! Have a great week! XOXO, Ash โ |

๐๐ผโ๏ธ Happy Wednesday, Sweet Friends! When I get mid-week, I get that itch to host on the weekends. I start texting my people to see who can come over or whoโs doing what. Sometimes, this ends up with a โIโm free this evening!โ to which I respond: โCome on over! Iโll keep it simple!โ ((Narrator: She does in fact NOT keep it simple.)) This has become my go-to appetizer - a nibble, if you will. At my momโs 70th birthday party, this was the dish that came back empty and the most requested recipe....
Hi, Sweet Friend! Itโs been a little while since I popped into your inbox (since March โ yikes! ๐), but with autumn settling in, now feels like the perfect moment to cozy back up together. Fall is that season where everything slows down just enough โ golden leaves, crisp air, hearty meals โ and it reminds us how good it feels to gather. Whether itโs a simmering pot of chili on the stove, a tray of roasted veggies fresh from the oven, or an impromptu dinner party with friends, autumn...
Happy Monday, Sweet Friends! Last week I left my little sweet town of Asheville and ventured to the New York Cities! Big deal for this "I don't like to travel" girl! I had a blast! I've been adding (slowly!) all the places we ate and ventured to on Instagram! If you're not following along, what are you waiting for? NEW RECIPES YOU NEED TO TRY: Hot Honey Pimento Cheese Dip: this one is a winner winner! You take my usual pimento cheese recipe, add in hot honey, and bake it. I like to keep some...
